Man Alleges Doctor Acted Negligently During Collarbone Surgery

It is very important for medical professionals to not act negligently when performing surgical procedures on patients. Surgical negligence can cause patients to suffer harms. Harms suffered due to negligent surgical errors can have significant impacts on a patient’s life.

Recently, a case involving allegations of surgical negligence has arisen in Texas. The case involves a man who underwent a surgery on his right collarbone in June 2010. The surgery was aimed at repairing a fracture the man had suffered.

The surgery reportedly was performed by a doctor from River Oaks, Texas. The man alleges that this doctor acted negligently during the performance of the surgery. The man claims that he sustained nerve damage as a result of this alleged surgical negligence.

A lawsuit has been brought by the man in a court in Texas in connection to these allegations. The lawsuit names a clinic and the above-mentioned doctor as defendants. According to the Ultimate Heights article which reported this story, the man is asking for damages in this lawsuit. It will be interesting to see what happens in this case and how it is ultimately resolved.

Surgical negligence like that alleged in this case can be extremely harmful to patients. No patient should have to experience surgical negligence. Thus, one hopes that medical professionals are held accountable when they negligently commit harmful errors when providing surgical care. One also hopes that all medical professionals who provide patients with surgical care make sure to act properly when providing such care.
