About Hillary
Hillary Andrade is an educator, lifelong learner, and global explorer with a passion for people, languages, and stories. She was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, in a close-knit family that taught her the value of connection, resilience, and always making time for a good dance party.
She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Over the years, she has followed a non-traditional career path – starting as a lifeguard, exploring education as a bilingual paraeducator, and even spending time working abroad in Munich, Germany. Her love for learning about different cultures pushed her to study French and German along the way.
Whether she’s teaching, traveling, or dancing through a Zumba class, she brings heart, curiosity, and compassion to everything she does. She believes in embracing change, staying open to new experiences, and helping others, especially her parents. Her greatest hope is to one day help them retire early as thanks for their lifelong support.
When not working, she loves strumming her guitar, planning her next adventure (New Zealand is at the top of the list!), or spending time with her partner, Ronnie, her biggest fan and greatest support.
