Veterans Day Giveaway 2025

This Veterans Day, we were honored to celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country through our Giants ticket giveaway. Community members were invited to nominate a veteran in their life for a chance to win two tickets to the NY Giants vs. Washington Commanders game at MetLife Stadium on December 14.

Congratulations to this year’s winner, Patrick Zummo.

Patrick comes from a proud family tradition of service. His grandfather served as an Army paratrooper, and his father was an Army veteran of Vietnam. After losing his father to Agent Orange while still in high school, Patrick made a promise to his family that he would join the Army to help pay for college — and he kept that promise.

After completing his service, Patrick earned a degree in Aeronautical Science and his pilot’s license. His commitment to serving others continued through his career with the Nassau County Police Department, where he has earned the respect of his colleagues and recently became a Detective Sergeant.

Known for his hard work, loyalty, and genuine kindness, Patrick is admired by those who know him. Off duty, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and cheering on his favorite football teams.

We were proud to honor Patrick as this year’s Veterans Day Contest Winner and to recognize his dedication, resilience, and service.
