Toy Donation to CIRI Families
Last updated Monday, December 29th, 2025
This holiday season reminded us what truly matters.Together with the Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI), our team at Wocl Leydon had the honor of organizing a toy donation for Ukrainian families in their community. The children shared their wish lists, and our WL Elf delivered more than toys—there were laughs, hugs, and moments of pure joy.
What stayed with us most were the thank-you cards the children created with their own hands—written and drawn in both English and Ukrainian. Their words, their smiles, and the stories they shared from their home country filled our hearts in ways we’ll never forget.
We are deeply grateful to the incredible CIRI staff and volunteers for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of something so meaningful. A special thank you to Olga for teaching our entire team about the Christmas season in Ukraine and helping us understand the beauty of their traditions.
This wasn’t about gifts—it was about connection, kindness, and reminding families that they are seen, valued, and supported.
