It is very important for medical professionals and medical organizations to not engage in surgical negligence when caring for patients. Such negligence can cause great harms to patients. Such harms can be very impactful on a patient’s life.
Recently, a celebrity medical malpractice case has arisen involving allegations of surgical negligence. The case involves the professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and a surgery company. Reportedly, Hogan underwent surgical procedures at a facility of the surgery company.
Hogan has accused the surgery company of surgical negligence. Specifically, Hogan alleges that the surgeries that were performed on him at the surgery company’s facility were ineffective and unnecessary and that the surgery company should have known that the procedures would not be effective on him.
According to Hogan, undergoing these surgeries caused him a variety of harms, including:
- Increased spinal instability
- Bone loss
